DIM-ArrayTM Phytophthora System
Dimole Inc. has developed the DIM-ArrayTM Phytophthora system which enables simultaneous detection of Phytophthora ramorum, Phytophthora kernoviae and an Internal Control (to avoid false negative results).
1 test on 1 sample includes: detection of Phytophthora ramorum, Phytophthora kernoviae and an internal control (to avoid false negative result).
16 samples can simultaneously be tested on 1 slide.
4 slides can be used simultaneously.
1 slide carries 16 arrays.
The Internal Control is a tissue provided in the test kit and which is added to the sample prior to DNA isolation. The internal control ensures that the DNA isolation and the Multiplex PCR are working properly.
Generated PCR products are then specifically hybridized to the DIM-ArrayTM slides and signals are detected with a standard office flatbed scanner. Images of results can be saved, printed or shared. A second control integrated into the system ensures that the hybridization is working properly.
